This is our apiary inspection day. We will work through the hives, test for mites, treat any that need to be treated, evaluate how they are shaping up for going into fall. These days are a great chance for our members to be part of an inspection with experienced members from the club.
We will be covering what you should be looking at and looking for in September with your new hives, what should you do now to help your girls make it through winter.
David is coming this month for a wax rendering demonstration. We will also talk about what you should be doing to get your girls ready for the coming winter

Dr. Dennis VanEngeldorp will be the featured speaker at this year's meeting. He is a professor of entomology at the University of Maryland and a director for the Bee Informed Partnership. The meeting is October 20-21
