Here is another picture of the variety of pollen the girls have been collecting
We found this in one of the native bee houses. There are a couple tunnels here that have been filled by mason bees and sealed up with mud. There is another little girl hiding in the next hole over.
The girls have been busy bringing in a heavy nectar flow from something. The honey in the hive has increased very fast and check out this awesome purple pollen
Today we opened up all 3 hives at the Riverside apiary. One hive that had pupae being opened during a prior inspection was retested for mites. So far all 3 hives have very low mite levels. We added the second deeps to all the hives.
